Default Duplication of support tickets

I noticed this problem when I opened a ticket in June, and it's happened again today. When opening a support ticket, a duplicate entry arrives which then has to be closed.

Am I doing something wrong? As far as I'm aware I'm only opening one ticket by using the online form, but somehow a second one with the same issue opens.

Can this be resolved for the future?

By the way, I love the services I'm receiving from SolidHost - the speed of support and the speed of my server too are phenomenal! Thanks guys!

Hello,

I'm glad to hear you are happy with our services. I have seen the problem you are describing before. It doesn't happen very often but we are looking for the problem.

Thanks for reporting it!

Thanks John. It's good to know that I'm not doing something that creates these duplicate tickets. I don't need support very often, but when I do and if this happens again, I shall not be concerned!

gill.g, do you remember if you had hit Refresh on your browser after you submitted your ticket?
This is something that happened to me a long time ago. I opened a ticket, and a little later i was hitting Refresh to see if I had a reply, and this was creating a second, third etc instance of the ticket.

Dimitris

edit: it didn't happen here, but on another host.

Hi spot!

I'm not aware of hitting refresh, or at least, didn't do it consciously! Next time I open a ticket I will ensure I don't just to check!!

Thanks for the interest!
