Default Python

Can we get python on shared accounts? A lot of shared plans are offering that these days. Do we already have this?

Oh that's great. Is it only installed as CGI?

Actually I can't get either to work:
http://www.sharewonders.com/cgi-bin/hello_world.cgi (It says it isn't there but it is and the permissions are 777).

or

http://www.sharewonders.com/test/hello_world.psp

Yes it's only installed as CGI.

As for that first one, there are two problems:

1. In the error log it's showing: "Premature end of script headers: /home/btipling/public_html/cgi-bin/hello_world.cgi" - so this means there is an error in your script.

2. Most likely it shows a 404 error because it can't find the page to show the correct error message (which would most likely be the page for the 500 error message).

That second one doesn't work for two reasons:

1. It needs to be in the cgi-bin
2. The extention .psp is not supported, you would have to use .cgi

Okay thanks! I really appreciate the quick reply. I guess my suggestion then would be to enable Python Server Pages.
